- I hold a PhD, an MPhil (Cantab), and a BSc (Hons) at Royal Holloway University and University of Cambridge.
- I am an Associate Professor at Royal Holloway University of London, a Senior Fellow of the Advanced HE, a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation and the Royal Statistical Society.
- I was awarded "The Most Outstanding Vietnamese Student in the UK" title by Vietnam Embassy in 2014, "The Golden Globe Computer Science Award" by Prime Minister Phan Van Khai. I have acquired over £904,000 research grants as Principal Investigator (>£1.3M as Co-Investigator); received 2 Best Paper Awards, 1 Best Poster Award, 4 nominations for Best Papers, and 3 US Patents.
